Learn the ancient art of aiki-jutsu, the fighting style of the Japanese Samuri warrior Aiki Jutsu is a fun and exciting way to learn self defence quickly and effectively. It is an excellent way to keep fit and healthy and helps to build stamina, reduce stress and increase mental awareness. Whilst training, you will learn open hand combat as well as the ancient arts of jojutsu (staff fighting), Itto ryu kenjutsu (samurai swords) and atemi jutsu (pressure point attacks). Our classes start at age 5, our oldest member is 82, and we have a beginner in his 50s. Our Chief Instructor is by Appointment of the Daisho-ji Imperial Temple in Japan, and we've been running classes in Edinburgh since the early 80s.
